Thibaud Weick completed his business administration studies at the University of St. Gall, Switzerland, in 1998 and obtained his MBA degree the same year.

Since August 2008 Thibaud has been in Chief Commercial Officer and CEO roles overseeing more than 10 key markets in Southern Europe (Italy, Greece, Cyprus), the Middle East (Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon) and Sub-Saharan Africa (Ghana, Zimbabwe, Burundi, Central African Republic, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Africa). He is a recognised expert in the fields of strategy and business planning, marketing, new product development, brand and communications, distribution and sales, customer care and CRM.

Before his current appointments, Thibaud was Group Chief Commercial Officer for the African broadband pioneer Smile Telecoms.
